CALL FOR STATE OF EMERGENCY IN EDO: How true are Edo APC claims? ...accused Governor Obaseki of dictatorship The All Progressives Congress, APC, has in a recent Press conference held in Benin city, the capital of Edo state, called on President Muhammadu Buhari to as a matter of urgent national importance, declare a State of Emergency in Edo state due to the collapse of governance, one year after the PDP-led government led by Governor Godwin Obaseki assumed office, for a second term of four years. State Chairman of the party, Col David Imuse Rtd while addressing a press conference in Benin City, amongst other things said:--  ***Edo State today is under the dictatorship of Mr. Godwin Obaseki.  ***Obaseki has emasculated the Judiciary, crippled the Legislature and personalized the Executive branch. ***Edo is the only state in Nigeria today without a functional Legislature.  ***What is happening with the 10 PDP jokers who gather regularly at Governor Obaseki's office is comical.   ***W

EDO: APC WOMAN LEADER HOSTS MARKET WOMEN, LOYALISTS

APC Edo Central Woman Senatorial Leader, Host APC loyalists, Market women, ward executive    By: Oriaifoh Godwins  On Wednesday, 29th December, Reverend Mrs. Isi Josephine Ibhaguezejele Edo Central All Progressives Congress, APC, Woman Senatorial Leader, in the spirit of the Yuletide, hosted APC faithful, including the five LGA Edo central women leaders, Edo central Market women executive, Igueben Local Government Ward 4 APC loyalists and the member of the community. The event which was held at Uhe, Igueben, in Igueben Local Government area of Edo state, witnessed the distribution of rice to all present. Addressing the mammoth crowd, Reverend Mrs. Isi said, it is good to appreciate in whatever little way, the efforts and loyalty of those that have stood by her over the year, adding that she look forward to the continuation of same in years ahead. The Igueben APC, LGA Chairman, Sir Matthew Ihensekhien, commended Rev. Isi for her gesture and prayed that God will reward her labour of
