Edo State LG Service Commission, Dissolved. As the new administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo continue to make reforms for a rising new Edo state, the Edo state Local Government Service Commission, has been dissolved by Governor Monday Okpebholo. The above development is contained in a Press statement released today, 25th November , 2024, signed by Mr. Fred Itua, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor of Edo state, and made available to newsmen. We’ll chase criminals out of Edo- Gov Okpebholo  Swears in new appointees Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on Monday, vowed to chase criminals out of Edo State and restore total peace in the Heartbeat of the Nation.  Governor Okpebholo said under his watch, criminals will not be allowed to get away with murder or disrupt the relative peace in the State. Gov Okpebholo restores full statutory rights to Oba of Benin  In a bid to further right the wrongs of the immediate-past administration and foster cordial relations between the Government and the people, the Edo State Governor,  Senator Monday Okpebholo has restored the full statutory rights of the Benin Monarch over the contentious issue of the ownership of ancient artefacts looted from the palace of the Oba of Benin during the 1897 Benin Massacre by the British colonial forces.
