Press Statement:

Imuse Renew Call for Members to Revalidate APC Membership

The Caretaker Committee  Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Edo state, Col Dr. David Imuse Rtd has urged all intending members to seize the opportunity of the new deadline for membership registration to join the party.

In a statement by its Assistant State Publicity Secretary, Ofure Osehobo, Col Imuse noted that in response to the demands across the states for an extension, to allow accommodation of all prospective members, the party has extended the nationwide membership exercise by a period of three (3) weeks.

He said the extension will shift the end of the exercise to Wednesday 31st March, 2021 and  appealed to old members who have not revalidated their membership of the party before now, to do so at their polling units in their own interest.

According to Col Imuse, "The National Leadership of the party ably led by the

Chairman, Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), His Excellency, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, extended the deadline because it has received a nationwide acknowledgement of the increasing popularity of our party, the All Progressive Congress, and most especially in States like Edo, governed by the opposition party".

The Edo APC Chairman then charged party leaders to also use the opportunity to mobilise support for the exercise by helping to oversee the success of the registration and revalidation exercises in their localities.

He commended all the party officials across the units, wards, local governments and the state, who are involved in the exercise for their selfless services, assuring them that their labour will not be in vain.

Signed

Ofure Osehobo,

Assistant State Publicity Secretary,

Edo APC.
