On Friday, May 24th, 2024, the Big Apple played host to a momentous event that will be etched in the memories of the diaspora community for a long time to come, as Senator Monday Okpebholo, fondly known as Akpakomiza, the All Progressives Congress, APC, gubernatorial Candidate in the 2024 Edo guber, brought his interactive tour to New York City, and event that can aptly be described as a resounding success.

The meet and greet event, held at Eazylife Restaurant and Lounge in the Bronx, was a culmination of the senator's efforts to connect with the diaspora community and garner support for his gubernatorial bid in the upcoming September 21st Edo guber.

Henry J was live on the ground in the Big Apple, covering the event and capturing the excitement and energy of the evening.

The event was attended by a diverse group of distinguished individuals, including  Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Emperor Jarret Tenebe, Prof. Legend Asuelime, Dr. Blessing Agbomhere, Chief David Adodo, and Mr. Wilson Imafidion.

The evening began with registration and networking, as attendees mingled and exchanged stories. Mr. Wilson Imafidion, the moderator, welcomed everyone and introduced Senator Okpebholo, who delivered a keynote address that left the audience in awe. The Senator's vision for a better future, his passion for development, and his commitment to the people resonated deeply with the crowd.

The Questions and Answers, Q&A session that followed was a testament to the Senator's engagement with the community.

He answered questions, addressed concerns, and shared his plans for the future.

The audience was impressed by his clarity, his empathy, and his willingness to listen.

As the evening drew to a close, it was clear that Senator Okpebholo had won the hearts and minds of the diaspora community in New York City.

The event was a triumph, and the Senator's message of hope and unity had struck a chord.

The diaspora community has pledged its support for his candidacy, and it is evident that Senator Okpebholo is the leader that Edo State needs.

In the words of an attendee, "Tonight was a blossom wow! Senator Okpebholo's passion and vision are infectious. We are proud to support him, and we know that he will make a difference in Edo State."

The success of this event is a testament to the power of community and the impact that one leader can have.
