The Honorable member representing Ward 1 of Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area of Edo state, Honorable Kelvin Abhulimen Okpiahior, on Sunday 22nd June, 2025 declared that the Ward he represents in Esan central local government area, Ward 1, has finally been conquered by the All Progressives Congress, APC, and that the home of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has been completely deserted and wiped clean, as a result of the defection from the PDP to the APC. He made this revelation, in an event that held at the  Okaijesan Hall, Eguare, Irrua, on Sunday 22nd June 2025.

Speaking with winning Media online, the Counselor said; "...the PDP in Ward 1, breath their last breathe on Saturday, 21st June, because on Sunday the following day all the remnants in the party, defected to the APC".


Continuing he said my earlier defection from the PDP spelled doom for the party and now it is clear that the PDP is not existing anywhere in what one has subsequent elections in my world is going to be a one-way results it is going to be a one-way traffic in favor of my party the APC.


Hon. Abhulimen, thanked Governor Monday Okpebholo the governor of Edo State, who he described as the visioneer that has come to reclaim the lost glory of Edo State, saying; "he gave us the platform to thrive and we will not fail him".


"I equally want to use this opportunity to hail my digital Chairman, Rt. Honourable Kevin Ainiyalenhimi Iyere, who the governor of Edo State himself, described as the 'Capacity Chairman'.


"PDP is dead, and dead in my Ward, the party is dead in Esan Central local government area, and it is dead in Edo state". Hon. Kevin Abhulimen concluded.


Ward 1, of Esan Central Local Government area, comprises Ibore, Obiabi, Ugbalo, Atuagbo Ekilor and Okhoromi Communities.
