The Ojirrua of Irrua and Okaijesan of Esanland, who ascended the royal throne of Irrua kingdom in June 22 1971, will mark the Golden Jubilee of his coronation in June, 2021. High Chief Abudu Ugbesia, the Chairman of the Planning Committee, has revealed that, details of the five days' activities packed event to mark the Golden Jubilee of the coronation of the Okaijesan of Esanland, will soon be released to the public, as finishing touches are currently being made to ensure that no stone is left unturned. It would be recalled that ten years ago, the Ojirrua marked the 40th Anniversary of his coronation. it was also gathered that some eminent and illustrious sons of Esanland and beyond will be honoured and bestowed with Chieftaincy titles during the event which will climax on the 26th of June.

 February 22, 2021 Press Statement: Imuse Renew Call for Members to Revalidate APC Membership The Caretaker Committee  Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Edo state, Col Dr. David Imuse Rtd has urged all intending members to seize the opportunity of the new deadline for membership registration to join the party.  Breaking: Court Nullifies the unlawful removal of Esan West Council Chairman, Edo by Governor Obaseki January 29, 2021 Hon Patrick Aguinede of APC has been declared the valid and duly legally recognised elected Chairman of Esan West Local Government Area Council of Edo State by Edo State High Court No 4, Benin City Presided over by Hon . Justice D.I. Okungbowa in suit no B/11/2020. In the judgment delivered on the 29th day of January 2021, the learned trial judge declared the purported removal of Hon.
