Contract breach judgment: Firm lists 33 Nigeria's UK properties to be sold • We will pursue all remedies available –  AGF By: Sharon Ehimegbe Sequel to the judgment given to Eurafic power Limited, against the Federal Government by a United Kingdom High Court, that some identifiable properties be confiscated and disposed, over alleged breach of contract entered into on the sale of Sapele Power Station, about 33 properties belonging to Nigeria in the UK have been identified and listed to be forfeited. The development comes as Nigeria continues to battle another firm, P&ID, which is attempting to seize $9bn Nigerian assets. In the fresh case with number CL-2017-000781 a UK High Court ordered the payment of $2.51m, £225, 949.19 and N57.9m (a combined N1.12bn based on the current Central Bank of Nigeria’s exchange rate). Witness' tape indicts Magu on N75m bribe A tape recording played before the Justice Ayo Salami-led Presidential Probe Panel on how some operatives of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), popularly known as ‘Magu boys’ used a lawyer to demand bribery of N75mn to be paid into different accounts, has soiled the ex EFCC boss' name. The businessman, who bursted the cover up, Mr. Donald Wokoma of Damijay Integrated Services Limited, had tendered an affidavit of fact in support of a petition he wrote against ‘Magu Boys’ for extortion before unfreezing his bank account. It could be recalled that EFCC, in 2018 refused to obey the order of Justice O.C. Agbaza to lift the restrictions on the account of Damijay Services Limited, after the firm had filed a suit for fundamental rights enforcement at the FCT High Court. KIDNAPPING: IGP Special squad, nabs Benue Assembly member

 IGP Special squad nabs Benue Assembly member over murder, kidnapping  Indications emerged that detectives of the Nigerian police force, Special Squad under the command of Deputy Commissioner of police, Abba Kyari, have arrested the Member of the Benue Assembly Representing Katsina-Ala Constituency, Hon Jonathan Agbiye, over allegations bordering on kidnapping, murder and theft.  Agbidye was allegedly apprehended in possession of a Toyota Hilux vehicle believed to belong to the late Justice Tine Tur, of the court of Appeal by the operatives who arrived Benue State from Abuja.  He’s currently in Makurdi, but will be moved  to Abuja by the special squad.
