... to be indifferent, is dangerous

-Oduma warns

By: Oriaifoh Godwins

The people, and electorates of Edo state has been called upon to join in changing the ugly narrative that is currently putting Edo state in the rear seat in terms of growth and development amongst the comity of progressing states in Nigeria.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Assistant Deputy Director for Mobilisation, in Edo central Senatorial district, Hon. Chief Robert Okoinemen, aka the Oduma of the universe, made this call recently while speaking with a team of Journalists in Uromi, Esan North East local government area of Edo state.

Speaking, Chief Okoinemen, who lamented that many Edo people, including those that  supported governor Godwin Obaseki's second tenure election, are all regretting today.

He said; "myself and a couple of other people warned us on the devastating implications of giving Obaseki a second chance, but people turned deaf ears to our warnings"

" Myself and a number of us read between the lines, and saw the future; we warned and advised Edo electorates that Obaseki's second coming will spell doom for the state, but they kept shouting "Torgba", "Torgba..."

"Those that had erection four years ago, and were happily hailing Obaseki, have today, prematurely ejaculated, even as some of them are smart enough to abandon the sinking PDP to join the APC".

Speaking further, Chief Oduma of the universe advised that, the 2024 Edo gubernatorial election is crucial if Edo state will move to the next level to experience development and growth, saying; "... with respect to the upcoming 2024 Edo Guber, to be indifferent is very dangerous; because, should Asuelimen Ighodalo, Obaseki's anointed and imposed candidate, becomes the next governor of Edo state, God forbid, the regrets and woes of Edo people will graduate to a higher level..."

Chief Okoinemen concluded by saying; with the way Mr. Obaseki governed Edo state in the past close to eight years now, Edo people cannot say all is well.

Disregard Forces Of Darkness In Ambrose Alli University

OPINION Disregard Forces Of Darkness In Ambrose Alli University By: Imoudu Peter Since the Selection Panel for the appointment of a new substantive Vice Chancellor began its assignment, our beloved university, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, has witnessed a recrudescence of the evil machinations of these seemingly entrenched forces of darkness.  Social media and a few nondescript media outlets have been awash with their odious, scurrilous, insensate and markedly false publications. Who are these desperados and what exactly do they want? It must be anything but the over all well-being and best interests of our great University.  Masquerading under faceless groups and anonyms, these media rats have been calling out the name of our most illustrious former substantive Vice Chancellor, Professor I.A. Onimawo and spewing absolute gibberish! What has the poor former VC got to do with the Selection Panel’s remit over the appointment of Principal officers for Ambrose Alli University?...
