On Saturday 11th October, 2025, The entire royal family of the Okaijesan of Esanland, the Princes, Princesses, their distant families, as well as all the friends of the palace, came together to throw their weights behind Prince Abdullahi Momodu's aspiration of contesting for the Chairman of the Esan Central local government area, come 2026 Edo state local government elections.

This move came after the entire family agreed that, what binds them together, is bigger than what is attempting to divide the them.

The unification, and oneness of the 'Neramas', 'Jamatas',...in support of Prince Abdullahi Momodu, came after some persons insinuated that the Palace was divided ahead of the Edo state 2026 local government elections.

In an exclusive interview with Winning Media Online, Prince Abdullahi Momodu, aka Supalee, the Esan Central Chairmanship hopeful, thanked all his siblings, his elders, family members and friends, saying; "...I know it will end in praise. I know I will have the support of all my brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles. I know my cousins, nieces and nephews will back me up, and I am immensely grateful to all of them. I cannot thank them enough for throwing their weights behind me".

"We are one united family. Yes, sometimes, as it is, in every other families, there may be disagreements, but we always have a way of settling our differences, as God is always in control".

The unification of the entire family members of the Okaijesan Palace in support of Prince Abdullahi's Chairmanship aspiration, has finally laid to rest the plots by some persons, outside the palace, that have been clandestinely working to fan the embers of discord amongst the royal family with the ulterior motive of causing divisions among the members of the Okaijesan family, ahead of the 2026 Edo state local government elections.

It can be recalled that, earlier, the Council of Chiefs of the Okaijesan Palace, endorsed Prince Abdullahi Momodu to contest for the position of Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area Chairman.
