Esan Central LG Will Be A Model Under My Watch

Prince Abdullahi Momodu, aka Superlee the Esan Central Local Government Area, Chairmanship aspirat, has reaffirmed that, when he becomes the Chairman of the local government area, his administration’s commitment to transforming Esan Central Local Government Area into a model of grassroots development in Edo State, will be sacrosanct.

Speaking during a media interaction at his Campaign Secretariat in Eguare-Irrua, Prince Momodu disclosed that his team is currently developing a comprehensive strategy aimed at repositioning Esan Central as a benchmark for good governance, infrastructural renewal, and youth empowerment.


"Yes, I appreciate and hail the efforts of all the former Chairmen as well as the current Chairman of Esan central local government area, but, under my watch,

by the grace of God, Esan Central will be a model; I am already looking beyond the election period, I am currently strategizing on ways to ensure effective service delivery across all sectors in the local government,” Prince Momodu stated. 


Continuing, he said; “Our goal is to make this local government a reference point for others, in term of innovation, transparency, and people-oriented governance. I like to plan ahead, and that is exactly what I am doing, so I can hit the ground running as soon as the electioneering period is over.”


Prince Momodu, emphasized that the ongoing strategic sessions, involve consultations with community leaders, development partners, and key stakeholders, to identify priority areas such as healthcare, education, agricultural development, and security.


According to him, he is determined to revamp rural infrastructure, enhance internally generated revenue through sustainable means, and provide an enabling environment for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to thrive in Esan Central.


"We will move beyond rhetoric. We will put plans in place that will manifest in tangible projects across all Wards in the local government area" he added.


In view of the above, Hon. Momodu called on residents, and people of Esan Central Local Government Area, to support his Chairmanship aspiration, by supporting him and participating actively in the electioneering process.


He concluded by assuring the people that he will operate an open-door policy where citizens’ voices and feedback are integral to governance.
