Professor Christopher Imumolen, the Presidential candidate for the Accord in the 2023 Presidential election, has emphasized on the need for Nigerians to look out for a Presidential candidate that not only have value for the citizens of Nigeria, but also have the passion to rescue the nation out of the current economic and political quagmire that Nigeria is currently in, saying; “...the next President of Nigeria, is going to be faced with the toughest job ever.”

Speaking at the Arewa Elders Forum that held recently in Kaduna state, Professor Imumolen who said, we live in a country where one hundred and sixty percent of our revenue is used to service our debts and that, if Nigeria were to be a company, the option would have been to declare the company bankrupt or sell off the company to its creditors, added that, the next President of the country must be carefully selected, devoid of any political, tribal religion or whatever sentiments.

The accord Presidential candidate, who pointed out that he has imparted much on education of many Nigerians without making noise about it, shocked the crowd when a large number of people in the crowd affirmed his claim.

According to him, over five hundred thousand Nigerians across all the states in the country have benefitted from his scholarship programmes. Professor Imumolen who said he has been giving out scholarships out of passion without any political undertone, adding that he has never received government’s support for the scholarships he has been dolling out to Nigerians.

Professor Imumolen, who said 2023 will determine a lot in our lives, appealed to Nigerians to get it right once and for all this time as Nigeria currently need a young, organized and intelligent President as the older generations have done their best, but their best is not good enough to positively change the narrative and it is time for the younger generation to put right all the wrongs that we have been experiencing as a nation.
