APC, PCC: Edo state APC Contact and Mobilization committee inaugurated

Edo state APC Contact and Mobilization Directorate of the PCC Inaugurated

Today, Wednesday 14th December 2022, the Edo state chapter of the Contact and Mobilization Directorate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, was Inaugurated in Benin, Edo state.

Speaking, Hon. Dr. Samson Osagie, the Edo state Director of the Directorate of Contact and Mobilization of APC, Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, said; "...the mandate of the Contact and Mobilization Directorate gleaned from the terms of reference is basically to identify, contact, recruit and mobilise high level stakeholders and voters across Edo state to believe in, collaborate with, support and vote for our Presidential candidates and by extension other candidates of the APC in the 2023 general elections". In doing this, he charged the Coordinators and members of the contact and Mobilization committee, to lianse with the APC structure in their respective domians. Continuing, Hon. Samson Osagie said, in spite of the challenges that the Contact and Mobilization Directorate is faced with, the Directorate is determined to surmount the challenges and take Tinubu/Shettima gospel to the very nook and cranny of the state. He concluded by saying Tinubu/Shettima ticket, offers a renewed hope for Nigeria and Nigerians.

In his good will message, a one time Deputy Governor of Edo state, His Excellency Chief Lucky Imasuen charged the members of the Contact and Mobilization Directorate to constitute themselves as 'Political Jehovah witness', while another one time Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Pius Odubu, in his goodwill message, advised the members of the Contact and Mobilization committee to be good disciples and apostles of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2023 general election.

The Coordinators inaugurated into the Contact and Mobilization Directorate of the Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, for Edo North, include: Joshua Ilevbare, who was inaugurated as the Edo south Senatorial Coordinator, Comrade Emmanuel Ohireume, Senatorial Secretary and Comrade Thank God Akerele, Senatorial Publicity Secetary. The Edo North Local Government Coordinators, are: Mohammed Musa, Etsako west, Eddy Umule, Etsako central, Hon. Aliu Felix, Etsako East, Osheku James, Akoko-Edo, Evan. Goodluck Emma, Owan East and Hon. Julius Aigbogun was inaugurated as Owan west local government Coordinator.


Those Inaugurated into the Contact and Mobilization committee in Edo central Senatorial District, include: Hajia Hadiza Mobote, Senatorial Coordinator, Oghogho Ehi Lami, Senatorial secretary and Oriaifoh Godwins, Senatorial Publicity Secetary. Others are the Local Government Coordinators, including Mr. Nigeria Iyile, for Esan Central Local Government, Alentor Eimuan, Esan west, Kareem Ehi Ojieaga, Esan North East, Cletus Oboh, Esan South East and Gerald Ebesunu, Igueben local government areas.

In Edo South, Hon. Engr. Isaac Nosa Osahon, Senatorial Coordinator, Hon. Noaa Osifo, Senatorial Secretary, Hon. Ehigiator Isaac Igbinoba, Senatorial Publicity Secetary, for the local government Coordinators, Adesua Arigbe was inaugurated for Ovia North, Hon. Omoroghomuan Augustine for Uhunmuonde, Hon. Mrs Patience Omokaro, Ikpoba Okha, Hon. Sweet Ikponmwosa, Oredo, Hon. Angela Okpamen, Ovia South West, Hon. Joshua Uwagboe, Egor and Mr. Chris Ariri Orhionmwon local government areas.


Hon. Dr. Samson Osagie, the Edo state Director of the Contact and Mobilization Directorate, as well as his Deputy, Dr. Goddy Osa Igbaekeme, was also inaugurated.


The Inauguration ceremony was conducted by Col. David Imuse rtd, the Edo state APC Chairman.

Speaking with a team of Journalists at the venue of the event, the Deputy state Director, Dr. Goddy Igbaekeme, revealed that the Edo state Contact and Mobilization Directorate of the APC PCC, will immediately hit the ground running to ensure that Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu eventually emerge as the next President. Dr. Igbaekeme said; "...the mandate of the Contact and Mobilization Directorate is very clear and we are leaving no stone unturned to deliver on the mandate..." In view of this, he added that, he will be having a very crucial meeting with all the LGA and ward Coordinators in Edo central in the coming days. To deliver Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is a task that must be done, and we are up to the task. He concluded.

Present at the Inauguration ceremony, are key APC stakeholders in Edo state, including: H.E, Chief Lucky Imasuen, former Governor of Edo state, the Director General, Presidential Campaign Council, Edo state, H.E. Dr. Pius Odubu, also former Deputy Governor, Edo state, Mr. Benson Edosomwan, APC state Vice Chairman and Edo south Senatorial Leader, Hon. Rasaq Bello Osagie former Member, House of Representatives, Hon. Ohonbamu Paul, Former Deputy Speaker, Edo state House of Assembly, and Comrade Godwin Erahon, Pioneer APC Publicity Secetary, in Edo state. Others include four members of the G-14, Hon. Dr. Washington Osa Osifo, Hon. Crosby Eribo, Hon. Vincent Uadiale and Hon. Seid Oshiomhole.
