In the message signed by him, and sent on behalf of his family and Ambassador Martin Ihoeghian Uhomoibhi, AMIU, Organisation, he prayed for God to open doors of opportunities that will explode our individual potentials and move the people of Edo state from minimum to maximum.

The message reads in part:

'...May our state, THE HEART BEAT OF NIGERIA, receive the grace to blossom to the benefit of all the citizens of Edo state in particular, and the entire Nigerians in general...'

'...in this New Year, 2024, as we progress individually, may our individual progress be reflected in physical terms in the overall progress of our dear state. May God grant us a leader that will make Edo state a model that other states in Nigeria will copy from...'

Also in his message, he reminded the people of Edo state that, whatever God has given man the ability and intelligence to do, God will not come down to do it for man. He said; '...we must take our destiny in our hands and grab the bull by its horns...'
