SABOR INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI SCHOOL IRRUA, MARKS END OF 2020 IN STYLE
Today, Friday, 18th December, Sabor International Montessori School, marked her maiden end of year activities with an end of year party that was spiced up with variegated colours of activities.
Speaking at the event, the Head of Sabor International Montessori Schools, Mrs. Mabel Ogbonmwan, said; "...we are committed to training our pupils in both minds and morals and in doing this, we ensure that our pupils imbibe some basic practical knowledge with respect to creating values that are appreciated in the society.
Mrs. Ogbonmwan continued by saying; "...we believe that quality knowledge, is the real power, and that is why the philosophy of the school, is; Quality knowledge, the real power"
The Chairman of the event, Prof. Okogbeni, Chief Medical Director, Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, ISTH, who was represented by Dr. Peter Akhidenor, the Deputy Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee, CMAC, of ISTH, while appreciating the Executive Director of the school, said the most important success in business, is to invest and create employment for the people, as that eventually profers solution to the problem of unemployment in the country. Saying, Sabor International Montessori School, is not only adding quality value to the pupils of the school, but has also created employment for some persons in Esan land.
One of the parents of a pupil in the school, Dr. Adomeh a staff of ISTH, thanked the CED of the school for his vision, saying the best legacy any parent can leave for his children, is quality education. He thanked the CED for bringing quality education to Esanland, and to Irrua in particular.
On her part, Dr. Mrs. Adewuyi, another parent of a pupil, while appreciating the efforts of the teachers in imparting knowledge on the pupils, said; "...I don't know how they did it, but I must admit that within the short period of time that my son was registered in this school, we have seen significant improvement in him..."
The school pupils' presentations included the importance of Education, the aftermath of Corona virus and our 'new normals', the Yellow Fever sickness, Ballet dance amongst others. Father Christmas was also on ground to entertain the children.
