MUDIAME DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT TO KICK OFF

All is now set for the kickoff of the preliminaries of the much anticipated Mudiame Development Foundation, MDF,  Football tournament.


The preliminaries of the football tournament, where selection of teams for the actual competition will be made, has tentatively been scheduled to begin from next week at the University football field in the main campus at Idumabi-Irrua, in Esan central local government area of Edo state.

The under 17 tournament will include football teams from across the five local government areas of Esan land, as well as Mudiame Football team.

It can be recalled that, Mudiame Development Foundation, earlier in 2019, organised a football competition tagged: "Mudiame Primary Schools Cup", where forty primary schools from across Esanland participated.

Mudiame Development Foundation champions youth focused developmental agendas in areas such as Education, Sports, Health Care, Skills Development, Employment Creation and Poverty Reduction Programmes.

The football tournament, as well as the other upcoming events such as the food and fashion shows are open to individuals and corporate bodies for partnership collaboration, as a wide range of opportunities are available for partners to showcase their businesses.

Mudiame Development Foundation, is a brain child of Professor Sunny Eboh Eromosele, the Group Managing Director of Mudiame Group, and the Chancellor of Mudiame University, Irrua.
