   - Prof. Imumolen

The Presidential candidate of the Accord, in the upcoming Presidential election, Professor Christopher Imumolen, has assured that if voted for, to pilot the country's affairs, the security challenges that is currently facing Nigeria will become history as security of lives and properties will be a priority.

Professor Imumolen who said if lives and properties are safe in the country, the economy will automatically bounce back on its feet, added that, foreign investors will be attracted to the country and producers of primary products for the manufacturers will be encouraged to produce more as our forests will now become safe for their operations.      He however waved off the insecurity challenges that is currently being faced in Nigeria as artificial; saying, with the massive security architecture that Nigeria has, it is a joke taken too far for the country to be experiencing the kind of insecurity she is presently experiencing.

Professor Imumolen said this on Saturday, August 10, 2022 in an exclusive interview with our correspondent in Ehanlen-Ekpoma, his country home in Esan west local government area of Edo state.

Making reference to a one time Nigerian head of state, late Gen Sanni Abacha, who said; "...if insurgency persists in a country for more than 24 hours, the government has a hand in it...", Professor Imumolen added that, the Nigeria Military, the Police Force, Civil Defence and others, are highly professional and gallant enough to bring the terrorists and bandits to their kneels.

Professor Imumolen, who said he is pained by the needless loss of lives, wanton destruction of properties and farmlands as well as the loss of peoples heritage, said; '...we can not continue like this. We must change the narrative. This is why Accord, as a party, is poised to chart a a new course for our dear country..."

The Accord Party Presidential candidate, who also said he has been watching happenings in Nigeria for a long time now and hoping it will get better, added that, it is now time to change the narrative for the better and he is ready to change the course of history and pilot Nigeria economy to safety.
