EDO: LOCAL GOVT CHAIR IN EFCC NET

The Executive Chairman of Esan North East Local Government council, Mr. Augustine Okoibhole, has been arrested yesterday, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The Chairman, who has been under the searchlight of the EFCC, is currently under serious interrogation with the Commission officials in Benin city.

Information reaching Everyangleineverywhere.blogspot.com, reveals that the council boss' accomplices, yet to be picked up by EFCC, are making plans to dole out large sums money for the transfer of the local government council's Head of Service, HOS, as well as the Director of Works and Housing out of Esan North East Local Government council; for aiding the EFCC officials in their investigation and for their refusal to sign some of the already doctored and back dated documents that implicated the Chairman in financial malfeasance running into millions of naira.

However, under the present circumstance, none of the members of the management team of Esan North East local government council, can be transfered for now, until the ongoing investigation is completed.
